Sabrina received her clinical doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from the top national physical therapy program at University of Southern California in 2006, where she studied with some of the most highly acclaimed researchers in her field. She relocated to Portland in 2014 and joined the Therapydia PDX team in 2015.
Sabrina values continuing education and has attended several courses in specialized manual therapy techniques and movement science principles to advance her skills in the treatment of movement dysfunctions. Currently, she is participating in rigorous coursework leading toward a specialized certification via the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). She also actively follows the cutting-edge research of the Neuro Orthopaedic Institute and International Spine and Pain Institute regarding pain management.
Sabrina is an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Credentialed Clinical Instructor and Kinesio Taping Association (KTA) Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. She is also certified in The Graston Technique®, a patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively detect and treat scar tissue and other soft tissue restrictions that affect normal function. Sabrina enjoys exploring her adopted state and staying active in dance, yoga, Pilates and hiking.
I graduated from Oregon State University in 2018 with a bachelor’s in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. I am an outgoing person and love being in a work setting that helps people every day. Working in healthcare and helping people is a real passion of mine. I want to make everyone’s experience wonderful when they walk through the doors. I love the outdoors and will often go out for hikes, runs, and walks. On rainy days in Portland, you can find me working on puzzles. I am from Portland and love everything about the city.
