In 2014, she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She truly enjoys utilizing a well-rounded, wellness approach with her patients. This means not only addressing the area of pain and injury, but also helping her patients to move better, feel better, and avoid any further or future injury. Her areas of interest include rehabilitation of the injured runner and CrossFit athlete. However, she really does love working with all patient populations.
Through her use of manual therapy, appropriate exercise progression, and really listening to your story, she will help you feel better, learn a lot about your body, and have fun along the way. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys running, CrossFit, and playing with her 4 dogs.
Kelly Steffy, PT, DPT
Kelly received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Washington State University in 2015 where she found her love for studying human movement and injury. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in the San Diego area in 2019. Kelly enjoys treating an array of orthopedic injuries including sports injuries especially shoulder injuries as she had a shoulder injury during her high school swimming career. Since beginning her journey toward becoming a physical therapist, she wants to spread the knowledge about physical therapy not just as a treatment after injury, but also to prevent injury too. Kelly is interested in manual therapy, sports-specific strength and balance training, and will be pursuing a pelvic floor specialty. When she is not working at the clinic, you can find her in the outdoors either hiking, camping, snowshoeing, or playing with her dog.
Sarah Terpin, PT, DPT
A native of Oregon, Sarah completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon and went on to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2008. During her course of practice, she has had the opportunity to work in a number of different settings in all parts of the country and with many skilled practitioners who have helped make strong manual skills a backbone of her practice.
Sarah’s approach emphasizes a whole-body perspective to patient recovery and focuses on the benefits of healthy movement during the rehabilitation process and transition back to everyday life. She finds great satisfaction in working with patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and physical abilities, acting as an advocate for health in all aspects of their lives.
Outside the clinic, Sarah can be found spending time with her friends and family, relaxing with coffee or a good book, and getting together with her loved ones for delicious home-cooked meals. She is passionate about all things outdoors and looks forward to getting back to the beauty of the pacific northwest after a few years away.
Taylor was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. After spending 10 years in Northern California, she and her husband along with their two small children moved back to the beautiful state of Washington. Taylor was eager to raise her children closer to family and to share all that the PNW has to offer. Taylor has over 14 years of supervisory experience in the healthcare field. She has worked in an array of care settings including Assisted Living, Home Health, and Radiology. Taylor is compassionate about the patient care experience and joined the Therapydia team to help make a positive impact on the patients we care for.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management looking to start a career that would utilize my skill set and abilities to support the community in a meaningful way. I am passionate about helping people feel welcome and valued from the first interaction and feel supported and enthusiastic about getting the care they need.
Born and raised in the PNW, I can appreciate the beautiful scenery, quirky shops, and local events, and delicious coffee this area has to offer. When I am home, you’ll usually find me snuggled up with my meowing roommate, watching/listening to something true crime-related, attempting a new amateur art project, or cooking a new recipe.
