Chie graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Chie has a 200 hour yoga instructor certification from when she studied in Rishikesh, India before physical therapy school. Yoga often influences her practice of physical therapy, just as her physical therapy knowledge influences her yoga practice and instruction. Chie has an integrative and holistic view of health and healing that involves both mind and body.

Chie has a strong interdisciplinary physical therapy background and is interested in all types of treatment interventions and patient backgrounds, supported by her experience treating many different orthopedic conditions, from sports injury to post-surgery, to patients with joint syndromes and autoimmune disorders. Her personal interest in exercise and a variety of outdoor activities like hiking and skiing, leads to her interest in treating patients with goals toward returning to an active lifestyle. 

Tony received his doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) degree from Boston University in 2014. While studying, he also worked as a strength and conditioning coach for club sports teams including rugby, ice hockey, and volleyball as well as both the Army and Navy ROTC and individuals of myriad fitness levels.

Passionate about continued learning and providing optimal care for patients, Tony completed a Manual Therapy Certificate (MTC) program in 2017 and became an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) in 2018. He also completed a fellowship program in orthopedic manual physical therapy through Belling College in 2021.

His clinical philosophy revolves around strong patient communication and education, expert manual therapy skills, and the prescription of exercise for both rehabilitation and performance. He particularly enjoys working with active individuals and promoting long-term health and fitness through an intelligent approach to training.

In his free time Tony enjoys calisthenics and kettlebell training, hiking, cooking, walking his dog, and travel.

Born in Burma and raised in NE Portland, San loves spending his time climbing, tanning in the sun and reading manga! San obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Redlands in Southern California, and he has a deep passion for the clinical sciences. San loves connecting with people from all walks of life and he is excited to watch the healing his work with Therapydia will facilitate within his own community.

Rennie was born and raised in NE Portland. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara and spending some time abroad in Uganda, she is excited to be joining Therapydia’s team back in her old stomping grounds! In her free time, you can find her relaxing in a hammock, reading at a local coffee shop, or taking a day trip to the beach.

Jamie received her doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) degree from Touro University Nevada in 2019. Prior to this she received a B.S. in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon. Following her graduation from her DPT program Jamie worked under a team of 12 orthopedic surgeons for the first 18 months of her career. Under this team she was able to fine tune her pre-hab and post-op recovery skills as well as preventative care. She has expertise in post-operative recovery following joint replacements, labral repairs, ACL reconstruction, meniscus repairs, and rotator cuff repairs. She is passionate about patient education in addition to exercise and manual therapy techniques in order to obtain the best possible outcomes for her patients. Jamie has a special interest in total body health and wellbeing and strives to be a good example for her patients. She utilizes a balanced approach to physical therapy focusing on the whole patient as an individual by customizing an expert program to meet their functional needs. Outside the clinic, Jamie enjoys weight lifting, yoga, and spending time with her two dogs hiking and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Brenden is a born and raised Oregonian. He has lived in the greater Portland area for his entire life and doesn’t
plan on leaving anytime soon. Brenden received his doctorate in physical therapy from George Fox University in 2018.

He is an enthusiast for all outpatient orthopedic conditions and is always willing and ready to learn more as his experience grows. He has additional training and education in treatment of tendinopathy, persistent pain, and treatment of the lumbar and cervical spine.

His ultimate goal with the people he works with is to encourage and empower with a positive and honest
environment to create a change in their pain experience. He believes that education is the foundation to making progress and getting people back to doing the activities they enjoy in life.

Outside the clinic, Brenden’s recent hobby has been playing disc golf. Besides that he enjoys spending time weight training, being with friends, and spending time with his wife, Gloria, and his cat, Lexi.
