Chantal Ruff | Office Manager

Chantal has been working in the medical field for over 18 years. She has worked in many departments including working in Rheumatology, Primary care, Infectious disease, and more. Chantal has never worked in Oncology, her heart wouldn’t allow her to. Chantal is a certified Medical assistant with an EMT background, who wanted to pursue a career as a Midwife. That has now changed since the pandemic. Chantal has chosen a different career path focusing more on today’s mental health crisis and coping after the pandemic. Chantal wants to continue her education and training to be a mental health therapist.  Chantal also enjoys spending time with her family and in her spare time she loves to do arts and crafts.

P. Pender is a DC Native with 12+ years of customer service and 5 years of administrative assisting. They started their service journey through Apple Inc then transitioned over to One Medical; diving into the medical experience of patient relations.

P’s patient care philosophy focuses on kindness and empathy. Every patient that interacts with P will notice the mission to efficiently get things done, provide high quality support and continue to emanate a welcoming aura.

P’s long term goal is to receive Information Technology and Cybersecurity certifications in hopes to provide skill and assistance to the technical world of Therapydia. Along with those aspirations, P has dreams to create a non profit organization focused on mental health advocacy and development in coping mechanisms through art and music therapy.

My name is Jasmine Sinclair and I’m the new Office Coordinator for Therapydia DC. I’m super excited to be a part of such an amazing work family and I hope to meet everyone and network within Therapydia. I love to cook, spend time with family and friends, traveling, taking my children to different museums, and enjoying life. I’m currently working on my Master’s degree in Human Resources at Southern New Hampshire University. My goal is to become a Human Resources Director. I am a mom of three amazing children and a fur baby. As you see, my life is full of excitement and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing team!

Dr. Angelo Abis, originally from Central New Jersey, received his B.S. in Kinesiology from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in 2018 before obtaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The George Washington University in 2022. While at Temple University, Angelo was a member of the sports medicine staff for the football team, where he had the distinct pleasure of working with Division I athletes at the highest collegiate level. Angelo also has had the opportunity to study human movement analysis abroad at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. While studying at the George Washington University, Angelo completed clinical rotations in a variety of settings including an orthopedic setting in Denver, Colorado, a pediatric setting in Annandale, VA, and was part of a Spinal Cord Rehabilitation team in Dallas, TX. Angelo is a firm believer in a strong education component within each patient’s plan of care and believes that patients are able to more efficiently navigate their plan of care when they are more aware of how their body works and interacts with movement.

Unique is an administrative professional born and raised in our amazing nation’s capitol. She has been the Office Manager at Therapydia for over 2 years now, with over 8 years of medical administrative support under her belt. Unique’s goal is to always make sure the patient coming through the door feels welcomed, comfortable, informed, and equipped to advocate for themselves and their health.

Dr. Josh Ripp was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri before moving out to the Washington DC area in 2019. He attended St. Louis University for both undergraduate and graduate school where he was admitted into their accelerated physical therapy program, receiving his doctorate in just 6 years. Josh focuses on sports injuries, general orthopedics, and joint replacements. He has had the opportunity to treat patients of all ages including high school, college, and professional athletes. In January 2020, Josh joined the National Strength and Conditioning Association where he was able to obtain a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist degree. With this supplemental certification, Josh has learned how to optimally train athletes based on their sport and what part of the season they are currently. Josh emphasizes patient education and believes a patient performs best and enjoys physical therapy the most when they are fully aware of how and why their impairments may be causing pain or discomfort. Josh also believes in yearly screens for all individuals because the best way to treat an impairment is to catch it before it happens.

Dr. Rob Rogacki hails from Lansing, Michigan and is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Movement Science. He moved to D.C. in 2010, and attended George Washington University, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy. After working with many high level clients, including professional athletes from the NFL, MLB, and Olympics, during his clinical internships, he worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting with patients of all ages in Bethesda, MD. He furthered his education with the McKenzie Institute, and received his certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT) through McKenzie in 2016. He is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), and believes in fostering patient independence throughout the rehab process, empowering patients to take control of their symptoms and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
