Ramona spent her early childhood years on the island of Oahu. She reluctantly traded in the sun for rain when she moved to the PNW, but has since really embraced the beautiful outdoor scenery and has enjoyed living in the area. She received her B.A. in Business Administration from Washington State University where she graduated with High Honors. Since graduating, she has worked in business operations and developed a joy for streamlining processes.
She is very much a foodie and loves trying new cuisines in Portland’s expansive food scene with her husband. Ramona loves being outdoors and views physical activity as a form of self care so you can often find her on a nature walk with her pup Ella, who is her pride and joy.

Steven Jew, DPT
Steve, Therapydia Pearl’s Clinic Director, comes from the Bay Area in
Northern California. He received his B.A. in Sports Science with a
concentration in Sports Medicine at University of the Pacific in
Stockton, California where he also obtained his Doctorate of Physical
Therapy in 2015. Steven immediately became involved in clinical
education by quickly becoming a Certified Clinical Instructor, and
teaching a multitude of students from across the nation. He completed
a 3-year post doctorate program to become a certified Orthopedic
Manual Therapist through the Manual Therapy Institute. As a result,
Steven’s clinical approach is greatly supported by a “hands on”
approach towards getting his patients better faster. He has most
recently completed his certifications in Vestibular Rehabilitation,
Athlete Movement Systems, and is further specializing in the treatment
and diagnosis of endurance athletes.
When he isn’t studying or treating patients, you can find Steven rock
climbing with his wife Monica, or hiking with his dog, Luna. Steven
also loves to snow shoe, snowboard, and play volleyball whenever he
gets the chance.
Ryan Baysinger, PT, DPT, CFMT
Born and raised in Oregon, Ryan attended the University of Oregon where he received his B.S. in Human Physiology. He then received his doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ in 2014.
After moving back to Portland in 2016, he devoted significant time to pursuing education with the Institute of Physical Art, learning about their treatment focus on Functional Manual Therapy®. Ryan completed their certificate program as a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) in 2019.
His clinical philosophy focuses on the whole body instead of just focusing on where it hurts and incorporates active movement patterns into his interventions. These are far more effective and give longer lasting benefits than passive manipulations or modalities.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking with his Corgi pups, and traveling.
